Peace is Not a Wall

I looked for peace and found a wall.
The preachers pointed and said,
"Here is peace."
The children chanted, "We have peace."
The women cried, "Finally, we have peace."
The men frowned, "Yes, this is peace."
But peace is not a wall.

I looked for peace and found a club.
The preachers saw it and said,
"Now that, that is peace."
Children called out, "Peace is finally here."
Women were relieved, "Ah, peace."
The men were encouraged, "This is big peace."
But peace is not a club.
